We are looking for a talented and team-oriented Front Office Receptionist who is dedicated to helping people and changing people's lives through dentistry. We are looking for someone who has outstanding customer service skills, a team-oriented job focus, and a diligent and conscientious work ethic. This person must be fully engaged in the environment and clientele of a healthcare setting while interacting with clinicians and complying with governmental regulations.

Job Summary:
The Front Office Receptionist is the main team member responsible for customer service and helping coordinate a smooth, and pleasant patient experience by fulfilling the following duties:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Providing excellent customer service and supporting efforts made by other staff to provide excellent customer service.
  • Be excellent at scheduling and customer service.  Be courteous but also uphold the policies of the practice.
  • Make meaningful connections with each and every patient.
  • Ensures patient satisfaction, including troubleshooting when there is a complaint and working with management to develop process improvements to prevent recurrences.
  • Execute health information and patient organizational systems for the practice.
  • Support business goals by utilizing schedules effectively and supporting the practice revenue objectives.
  • Keep track and file important documents.
  • Comply with all relevant healthcare and dental regulations including HIPPA and WISHA requirements.
  • Follow and demonstrate commitment to Cedar Grove Dental policies, professional expectations and clinical service excellence.
  • Complete other support tasks that may not be listed above.
  • Dentrix experience is preferred but not required.
Qualifications:
  • At least 1 year of Dental front office experience is preferred, not required.
  • To fulfill the duties of this role, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

  • Experience with Dentrix dental software is preferred.
Education and/or experience:
  • Knowledge of customer service and accounting processes.
  • Experience in a similar dental or medical position may substitute for education.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Customer service and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in all aspects of billing.
  • Knowledge of regulations and practices related to insurance processing.
  • Ability to navigate and utilize electronic healthcare systems.
  • Ability to multitask, problem-solve.
  • Professional communication skills that extend to patients and their families, coworkers, dentists, hygienists, management, and all other individuals and agencies that come in contact with Cedar Grove Dental.
  • Ability to learn new systems and practices.
Pay: Negotiable based on experience. 19-21/hr-Not a leadership role.  Would be below our main front office coordinator. 

Benefits: Part-time only.  Up to 4 paid weeks off depending on production.
